I need help with a thesis statement?

My assignment was to create a thesis for my upcoming definition essay. The requirements of the thesis statement goes as follows: I have to define a word, and I have to explain how it is unique to me. it is similar to something like rich Vs. Wealth. The word I picked was clock. I started off by saying, " A clock is defined as a device that helps people prioritize elements of their lives according to the increments on the clock. I am a clock because I am constantly winded, and every second of the day I am analyzing my most important values to my least." Please help revise my thesis statement, thank you.
