Can I use pandora on my phone even if.....?

even if I dont have an internet plan on my phone, u see I have tmobile but I found this phone samsung vibrant galaxy S so I didn't have to activate an internet plan on my cell phone I simply just switched the chip. anyway using wifi can I use pandora on my phone and not get any data charges on my phone?
