What does it mean to always want to be single?

The longest relationship I was in was a little over a year. After that, being in a relationship makes me depressed. Whenever Im single, I feel the way I'm suppose to feel in a relationship. Happy, vibrant, open minded, strong and very caring. I like being single and I've only been intimate with one person.
