Why doesn't the left wing want the jobs created drilling and mining resources in America, by Americans?

I find it funny that the first person to answer needs a link to prove that jobs would be created in America if we drilled and mined here. With that type of attitude, it is no wonder why we are where we are at in terms of energy policy.
