Why was Osama Bin Laden's body thrown into sea, not buried in land? Read description.?

I am really skeptical of his death. I am not aware of any REAL proof that he is dead. I know that there are some issues to showing his corpse, but if he is such a threat, a criminal (to the US) of the highest magnititude, i think the revealing of his corpse to the public will not be that bad. I understand it was according to religion to bury him 24 hrs after death, but why at sea? I know people are going to say so that people don't gather and do whatever at his gravesite, but they could've left the grave site anonymous...Osama bin laden was public enemy number 1, they took a huge risk in attacking the compound (they were not 100% sure he was there). If this guy is the highest, the most prioritized enemy, why the **** would they care about his proper religious burial? Also i have a really crucial question, is the burial of an individual at sea in anyway against (or unusual) in Laden's religion? (Plz, someone answer who is of his religion)....Also i beg of you, you may think that this question is stupid but plz only answer if you have truly thought about this event, if you just right away believed that Obama and etc were telling the truth plz dont answer, you really cannot believe what the American Gov't says right away, a lot of what they say its complete ******* bullshit.
